Common questions
What counts as a request?
Any outbound HTTP or webhook call your agent attempts. Each forwarded request consumes one credit; denied requests are free.
Do you charge per seat?
No. The console dashboard and request log are unlimited-seat. We meter agents, not engineers.
What happens when credits run out?
Requests are blocked when your balance reaches zero — no credit card on file, no automatic charges. You control when to top up. Per-key spend caps are available via the console dashboard.
Can I bring my own keys?
HMAC session secrets are unique per-key and managed by the gateway. Session tokens refresh every 30 minutes. Signing keys can be rotated without service interruption.
Is there a credit grant for open source?
Yes. If your agent's source is public under an OSI-approved license, email support@sphyr.io for a credit grant.
